Email Links
Email Links allows users to add resource links to the body of the email sent with a document. When this feature is activated the user will be prompted to select resources in the app prior to sending an email. The resources selected will appear as a list of links and the recipient will be able to click on the link to view the attached PDF, Video, or Webpage.
Available in: Leap Pro, Leap Premium, and Leap Enterprise
Activate Email Links
- In Document Routing toggle on Use Email Links for the document you’d like to use this feature with.
- Include the ##brochures## placeholder in your Default Email Template.

Adding Email Links

- Category – Type in a Category for the link. This will help organize the links within the app
- Name – The name of the email link that will appear to the user inside of the app.
- Link – Add the URL the resource is hosted at. This is where the recipient will be directed to when clicking the link.
- Link Name – The clickable name that will appear inside of the email body.

To Copy From Resources

- This will copy over everything from the Resources area. Delete any links you do not want to allow the homeowner to receive.
Editing and Formatting Email Links
- Format Your Links
- This HTML changes what your email links look like in the body of the email. The default HTML will display the links as a list.
- Category
- Inside the app, each Email Link is organized by category, such as siding or roofing. You can select from existing Categories or type in a new one.
- Name
- The name of the email link that will appear to the user inside of the app.
- Link
- URL to which the link directs the email recipient when they click on it.
- Link Name
- The clickable name that will appear inside of the email body.
