Transparent Pricing

Leap’s pricing is straightforward, with monthly billing starting at just $79 per month for Leap Essential with one seat and $249 for Leap Team for three seats.* For an additional fee, you can add additional seats to your account with no cap on the number of seats. Plus, Leap can add free or paid subcontractor accounts to any Leap Team account.

Unlike Leap, AccuLynx doesn’t offer transparent pricing on their website, leaving you to request a quote and wade through the sales process. But from some independent research we collected, AccuLynx isn’t cheap.
 

With just 10 seats at the AccuLynx Pro level (and no expensive add-ons included), your AccuLynx account will cost at least $1,200 per month.

Integrations

Leap’s robust customer relationship management (CRM) features cover the full range of needs for your roofing or home improvement company.  While AccuLynx has some of the same integrations that Leap offers, you have to pay to use at least a third of them.

Lead Management  


Leap allows you to manually enter, import leads, or, better yet, connect your favorite lead tool like Angi Leads to Leap to sync leads you’ve received from that source.  
The great thing about Leap’s lead management tools is that they reflect how you sell. Facing multiple jobs from one lead? No problem. Leap can track separate jobs with different sales cycles all associated with the same customer record. Worried you may have entered a lead twice? Leap has you covered with automatic warnings if a duplicate entry is processed in your database.  

While AccuLynx has Angi Leads and Ads, you have to pay to use it through the AppConnections addon.

Contact and Job Management

After winning your job, keep your customers in the know with a robust suite of contact management and communication tools. You can start estimates, add tasks, track time, attach files and photos, and more without ever leaving the job file. 

With Leap, emailing and texting can be done right in app, with all communication activity attached to the customer record. 
 

And to help you manage a seemingly never-ending stream of calls and questions, Leap also has a robust customer-facing portal. This portal contains the vital info that helps customers get the answers they need 24/7, without blowing up your phone. 


Sure, AccuLynx has some of this functionality (like texting and a customer portal), but that’s yet another expensive add on. And if you you want to use Hatch or integrate with Zapier, that’s extra too. At Leap, we don’t believe you should have to pay for core features like this, so we don’t charge you for them, period.

Sales

In Leap, your sales workflow is also incorporated into job stages, found on your work center dashboard. From just a glance, you can see what deals are working through your custom pipeline.  

While Leap and AccuLynx have similar dashboards that provide a quick overview of leads in your sales pipeline, only Leap has a fully customizable pipeline and workflows that allow you to manage your leads and sales process how you want it. Our founders had decades of experience in the field and found that having a digital tool that reflects your exact process was a game-changer for sales. 

Using Leap, you can take your homeowner from lead to happy customer with powerful estimating and proposal writing, all set from your digital price sheets and using your custom pricing formulas and macros. When you and your homeowner agree on pricing, send over your contract, collect an electronic signature, and your team can get to work.  

AccuLynx does have many helpful sales features, but it does not allow for a customizable pipeline. Users report that they are unable to edit AccuLynx’s pre-loaded standard material and labor templates. Digital signing is available, but it is yet another thing you have to pay for.  Plus, if you want to use CompanyCam within AccuLynx, you’ll have to pay for that too.

Production Management

When it is time to work on your project, Leap has the full suite of products to help you work smarter. Thanks to integrations with SRS/Roof Hub, Leap makes ordering materials a breeze.   

Want to avoid timing conflicts? Schedule your jobs by assigning them to employees and subs, then use the production calendar to see in progress or scheduled jobs. Also, see exactly what work is being delivered when through time tracking for your subs and workers. 

According to user reports, AccuLynx’s production calendar is lackluster at best with users reporting issues being able to dispatch off the calendar. 

Mobile App and Payment Processing 

A top perk of Leap is that you can take it wherever the job takes you. Available for Apple and Android devices, Leap’s mobile apps work in tandem with the browser-based version for a seamless experience in the office and on the go. This isn’t the case with AccuLynx, whose G2 reviews report that the mobile app has “limited features and is difficult to use.” 


Additionally, LeapPay, Leap’s integrated payment solution, allows for ACH bank transfers and credit card processing within the app. Leap offers affordable payment processing, with transparent fees while AccuLynx does not openly share this information.
