October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month and many of you may have noticed that our Leap frog turned pink for awareness! But, we didn’t stop at awareness. The Leap team came together to raise donations during the month of October for the Susan G. Komen foundation!
Our donations went to research to stop the disease that affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime, breast cancer. As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease. Giving back and contributing to our community is built into our DNA. With several of our Leap family members knowing someone dear to them who have been affected by breast cancer, this was a no brainer that our company wanted to help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. So a small COVID-19 acceptable group of the Leap team went a step further than donations and got together in our pink breast cancer awareness shirts and did a walk for awareness around Centennial Park!
