Scaling a remodeling business from a handful of reps to a multi-state operation can seem like a sales and headcount challenge—close more jobs, hire more reps. In practice, it’s a consistency challenge. The bigger a sales team gets, the harder it is to make sure every rep is quoting the same way, in every market, every time.
That’s exactly what ZINTEX Remodeling Group, a family-owned bathroom remodeling and window replacement company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, ran into as it grew. Here’s how the company built one duplicatable sales process with Leap SalesPro and scaled it across 13 states and 46 markets.
Why Growth Exposes Weak Sales Processes
Adding reps and markets multiplies whatever is already inconsistent in a sales process. If pricing lives in a spreadsheet or contracts get filled out by hand, every new hire is one more chance for pricing errors, mismatched paperwork, or an inconsistent homeowner experience.
For remodeling and roofing companies expanding into new states, a duplicatable sales process, not just a bigger sales team, is what determines whether growth holds together.
Replacing Paper Contracts With One Digital Process
Before Leap SalesPro, ZINTEX had no way to guarantee two reps in two different states were pricing a job the same way. Contracts were built by hand, and every new hire was one more chance for an error to make it into a signed agreement.
“We were using Excel spreadsheets and 3 or 4 ply NCR paper. Press hard, there’s 3 copies. Press hard, there’s 4 copies. …And then they write one up wrong, and they have to do it all over again. It was very cumbersome.”

One Process for Nearly 100 Reps
ZINTEX’s sales team has grown from 6 to 10 reps into nearly 100 design consultants, and every one of them is trained on SalesPro from day one. Reps organize products by category and assign them to the right contract template for their market, so no matter which state a rep is selling in, the process and the pricing stay the same.
“It’s been amazing growth because of SalesPro. [In-home sales reps] have to use it from day one. They do not have an option to write an agreement any other way outside of SalesPro. SalesPro is our process.”

Keeping Salesforce and SalesPro Connected
ZINTEX runs its business on Salesforce, and Leap’s API team works directly with ZINTEX’s team to keep customer records, estimates, and agreements connected between the two systems, no matter how many markets are added.
“What I love about SalesPro is it integrates with a lot of different CRMs. …We use Salesforce. We have an entire API team that works with [Leap’s] API team, and they’re phenomenal at just connecting the dots and making sure everything talks to each other.”

Closing More Bathrooms in a Single Visit
When a homeowner likes the price on one bathroom and asks about a second, ZINTEX reps clone the estimate and price out both bathrooms side by side, showing financing on each in the same appointment. If the homeowner signs for only one, the second estimate is already built and ready to send whenever they’re ready to move forward.
ZINTEX built its lending partners, including GreenSky and Foundation, directly into SalesPro. Contractors using SalesPro’s universal credit application can go a step further, matching homeowners with up to 12 lending partners from a single application, so a declined offer doesn’t mean starting over.
The Results
- Grew annual revenue from a couple million dollars in 2019 to $32 million by 2022, then more than tripled that figure in the years since.
- Scaled the sales team from 6 to 10 reps up to nearly 100 design consultants.
- Now operates across 46 markets in 13 states.
- Built one duplicatable sales process that every design consultant uses from day one.
What This Means for Your Business
ZINTEX’s growth didn’t come from working longer hours or adding headcount for its own sake. It came from building a sales process that stayed consistent no matter how many reps, states, or markets were added on top of it. That’s the difference between a business that’s busy and a business that’s built to scale.
If you’re looking for remodeling estimating software, Leap SalesPro is built for the in-home appointment, where reps build the estimate, present the price, and close the job in one visit. Book a demo.
